Report Chain Labs is an independent review and ranking site for crypto exchanges. We help readers compare the services used to buy, sell, trade, withdraw, and store digital assets through centralized platforms. Our work is built for people who want more than a list of promotional claims. A slick app, a large token count, or a headline trading fee tells only part of the story. We look for the terms, restrictions, risks, and service standards that shape the experience after an account is opened.
We cover exchange features that have a direct effect on customers: spot trading, advanced order tools, deposit and withdrawal methods, stated custody arrangements, account security controls, fees, supported assets, geographic availability, and customer support. We also examine public incident reporting, policy changes, and credible user complaints where patterns emerge. We do not act as a crypto exchange, broker, wallet provider, custodian, or investment adviser. We don't hold customer funds, execute trades, or tell readers which asset to buy.
Our rankings use five core criteria: security and trust, fees, trading experience, asset and payment access, and customer support and transparency. Security and trust carries serious weight because a low fee is meaningless if a platform cannot explain how customer assets are handled. Fees include more than a maker and taker rate. We assess spreads, deposit charges, withdrawal costs, conversion pricing, and conditions that can make a cheap-looking account expensive. Trading experience covers reliability, liquidity signals, order types, and whether key information is understandable. Access looks at useful assets and practical funding options, while support and transparency assess how clearly a provider communicates its rules and resolves common issues. Our full methodology page explains how these factors are weighted and how scores are revised.
The editorial team is led by Rafiq Bennett, our Crypto Exchange Due Diligence Editor, alongside researchers and fact checkers who review source material, product documentation, and updates. We test what can be tested, read the fine print, and flag claims we cannot substantiate. Rankings are not permanent trophies. Providers can move up or down after a policy change, a fee adjustment, a service failure, or stronger evidence about their practices.
Report Chain Labs earns money through affiliate links with some providers. If you follow a qualifying link and take an action with that provider, we may receive a commission. This helps fund research, testing, and updates. It does not let a provider purchase a favorable score or control our editorial conclusions. Where commercial relationships exist, we aim to make that clear.
Crypto carries real financial risk, and exchange rankings should be used as a starting point for research, not a substitute for judgment. Check local eligibility, read current terms before funding an account, and never deposit money you cannot afford to lose.
